What does "Analyze" do?

The Analyze tool reviews a 6-hour window of unit data centered around a selected date and time — 3 hours before and 3 hours after. If the selected time is within the past 3 hours, it will instead analyze the most recent 6 hours of data. Each iteration, it selects 5 data points to evaluate — using its findings from the previous iteration to guide the next selection. Along with the historical window, the tool is also provided with live readouts for all points. Higher iteration counts allow for deeper analysis, but take longer to complete. Results are not retained between separate runs.

Granularity Information

When Average, Min or Max are selected, the number of data points loaded per day is reduced to improve performance.

If more than one data point corresponds to a single displayed point, Connect selects one to show based on the chosen display option:
